Our Pick of this weekend Premier League Predictions

Swansea vs Man Utd – Sat - Sky Sports @11.30am

Man Utd looked very strong against West Ham while Swansea competed well to save a point at St Mary’s. United should win this game.

I’m going for a 2-0 United win.

Bournemouth vs Watford

With the possible home debut of Jermain Defoe and Watford’s leaky defence as shown versus Liverpool, I can only see one winner!

Bournemouth to win 3-0

Burnley vs West Brom

This is tough one to call, Burnley got an excellent result versus the champions last week. Last season their home form kept them up and I think it will be similar this season. Tony Pulis’ teams are hard to beat, but I see Burnley nicking this one.

Burley to win 1-0

Leicester vs Brighton

Leicester were excellent last week against Arsenal, if they can be more solid at the back they will have a good season. Brighton had nothing to fear against Man City, just go out and enjoy yourself. However, I think this is going to be two defeats on the bounce.

Leicester to win 2-1.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

A lot of talk surrounding Coutinho, but Klopp still has some very good players available to him. Palace are a bit of bogey team for Liverpool, but both teams are suspect to crosses and set pieces. However, I think Liverpool will have too much for them.

Liverpool to win 3-1

Southampton vs West Ham

Southampton were unlucky not to win against Swansea last week, while West Ham came up against a very good United side. However, they did battle well and it was quite tight for the first 40 minutes. Due to the fact West Ham can’t afford to lose two games on the bounce, I’m going for a score draw.

My prediction – 1-1

Stoke vs Arsenal

This is an early test for that Arsenal back three, away to Stoke after conceding 3 goals last week versus Leicester. To be fair to Stoke, they still have the perception of a long ball team who will hustle and bustle teams but they have some excellent flair players like the signing they made this week Jese.

I’m going for an Arsenal win, 2-1

Huddersfield vs Newcastle – Sun – Sky Sports @12.30pm

First home game of the Premier League season for Huddersfield versus a Newcastle side, who have a bit of negativity surrounding them because Rafa keeps talking about he needs more signings.

I’m going for a 1-1 draw.

Spurs vs Chelsea – Sun – Sky Sports @3.30pm

This is the game of the weekend for me, Spurs first home game of the season at their new home, Wembley. Chelsea, who fell apart versus Burnley, two red cards, conceding three goals however Morata looked good so that was a positive. Chelsea cannot afford to lose this.

I’m going for a score draw 2-2.

Man City vs Everton – Mon – Sky Sports @7pm

Pep’s second season in the Premier League, he has a lot of pressure to perform and his team had a comfortable win versus new boys Brighton. Everton have spent well but losing a 25 goal striker in Lakaku might be their down fall this season unless they replace him. I can only see one winner in this one.

Man City to win 3-0
