Tobi's tips

Bournemouth vs Brighton

Despite the four points gap, aptly put there's not much between the teams with the home team being the poorest, they have tallied a woeful zero point all games. They need to get their starman, Jermaine Defoe into the game more often and though they've got an outstanding record of six games unbeaten against the visiting Seagulls, it is only important to use this game as a lift up into the new season. Brighton got their season's first win underway with a victory over West Brom. They achieved this feat with some bright display from Pascal Gross who got two goals and an assist. Chris Hughton will be hoping for a similar display from his boys who can further claim valuable points against known foes from the championship. Promises to be an eventful game with flurry of goals.

Bournemouth 1 vs 0 Brighton

Crystal Palace vs Southampton

After Frank de Boer received the sack from Eagles management after 4 games and 77 days in charge, Roy Hodgson will be dreaming for a good start to his new job. Team cohesion and powerful display will be his key to unlocking the opposition. Benteke and Cabaye will also be his principal game orchestras as they can both open up any defense. He certainly needs all hand on deck to overcome a Southampton side who are having Virgil van Dijk back into the team which will bring more balance to the defense and get their midfield going forward at ease. Mauricio Pellegrino will be saddled with the responsibility of getting his team to play the old way and their starman Gabbiadini to get the goals. A tough game for the two sides.

Crystal Palace 1:2 Southampton

Huddersfield vs Leicester City ‘Lack of quality opposition' was how Huddersfield winning start to the Premiership was described despite their winning starts. They made a dream start to the league and with goals from the Benin capped player Steve Mounie too as complements but last weekend they lost away to West Ham and now there's no better way to make a statement than fighting for the point against former champion, Leicester City. The Foxes, on their own are a wounded giant who have lost their recent games against quality oppositions and are bent on getting their season back in tune and against a declining Huddersfield will present a fine opportunity for this. Vardy and Mahrez should prove a great threat to The Terriers.

Huddersfield 0:2 Leicester

Liverpool vs Burnley

After losing emphatically against Man City last weekend, there's so much pressure on the Reds to get back to winning ways and they must achieve this without Saido Mane who picked up a red card when he kicked straight at Ederson face albeit some controversial claims. Liverpool are still without doubt in possession of brilliant attackers like Salah, Firmino and Coutinho who is just coming back into the team this season. Burnley on their own are above Liverpool in the table though on equal point and this should bring confidence to the team who are having Vokes and Woods as their point men. If only these men can capitalize on Liverpool's defensive weakness, Burnley should get a good result at Anfield.

Liverpool 2:2 Burnley

Newcastle vs Stoke City

Two successive wins against West Ham and Swansea have put the Magpies season in decent position. Rafael Benitez must be cooking up more methods for winning against similar oppositions and it will serve as a pointer for Newcastle's season. All said, the 4-2-3-1 formation seems to be yearning results already and the team will certainly build on it with Joselu as the point man. Stoke on their own were up for it against Man Utd last weekend, they brought the game to United and it thus brought out what has been missing for them this season. Mark Hughes will be hoping for a repeat against Newcastle knowing fully well that a similar display against Newcastle will transform to victory and with Choupo Moting and Rodriguez having a similar outing which put the United boys on the backfoot for much of the game.

Newcastle 2:2 Stoke City

Watford vs Man City

Watford have made a good start to the league this season with wonderful performances against teams so far except their loss to Bristol City. But this games against Man City will bring them against one of the most inform team in the league. They will be hoping for a repeat of the same performance which brought them victory against the Saints. A compact 4-2-3-1 is one and getting their £15million Chris Wood on the ball is another. Man City on the other hand are in a devastating form as they thumped Liverpool with 5 unreplied goals last weekend and that form continued into the Champions League with Aguero and Jesus forming a deadly partnership upfront to oust Feyenoord. Their key strength in the attack is the wing back play with both Walker and Mendy, who have proved to be quality signings no doubt, as the engine room and it's proving to be engine room of the attack. Man City should get a result

Watford 1:3 Man City

West Brom vs West Ham

A little dip in form from their last game which they lost against Brighton can be easily waved aside by coming out with a result against the hammers. There is so much to be accomplished as regards team spirit for now as the team needs an elevation from their bright start to the league. This game will require even more from Tony Pulis, it can serve as a tonic to shape back their entire season. A win is only as important as it gets against The Hammers and Slaven Bilic who's team keep putting more pressure on him with their consistent poor results, yeah, except for their home wins against Huddersfield. The team need to come together to fight and keep Bilic's job as he may be next in line to follow the path of Frank de Boer. Each team is saddled with the responsibility of using this game to redefine their season.

West Brom 1:1 West Ham

Tottenham vs Swansea

Tottenham are already at their matured state according to their manager and this is only obvious in their style of play and results too. If given the chance they can knock off any team. They have grown in power and consistency, from the defense line to the midfield and Harry Kane at the focal point. The way they knocked out Everton last weekend is a testament to that effect and Swansea will need to put in a deserving efforts and display to get a result against the high flyers. Swansea on their own have not really hit the gear this season and its high time they done that. Getting a result at Wembley can be possible if Spurs are truly still having a curse at their new home though they seem to have broken that jinx with the win over Dortmund. Swansea needs everyone at their best including new loan signing Renato Sanchez who had a woeful display against Newcastle.

Tottenham 2:0 Swansea

Chelsea vs Arsenal

The champions are back at their best with the return of Hazard into the team, the team is back playing good football. Morata is scoring goals but the threat posed by Costa is a true emblem of the Chelsea's style of football, but on their best day no team is undefeatable. Conte will be happy the boat has not capsized on him and will be much wary of any possible setback a loss against the gunners will bring to his team. The gunners on their own got back to winning ways with the win over Bournemouth from their disgraceful outing against Liverpool. Most of their key players were also rested for the Europa league tie on Thursday for the game against the champions. Arsenal will need to get Welbeck and Lacazette back to scoring form for this game and they'll need a well balanced defense to hold off Chelsea threats. Arsenal also have found a way to reverse the trend from the Drogba era which marked a period of always losing against the Blues

Chelsea 1:2 Arsenal

Man Utd vs Everton

Their much talked about attack was brought to check against Stoke City last weekend and Everton should posed equal threat as Stoke. Manchester United on their own have a new problem with Pogba's injury in the champions league. They have to go for the plan B which will involve probably bringing Herrera or Fellaini back into the first eleven. If configured rightly it should not disrupt their motivated attack line up which brings pressure on the opposition when launched. Everton have to stand to this game to claim anything from it, they lost to Spurs at home by three goals and also with the same score margin in the Europa league against Atalanta. They need to get their season back in shape at Old Trafford and what a stage to attempt that, once known as a fortress. Koeman will be hoping for a classical display from Sigurdsson and Rooney to bring their experience into the game.

Man Utd 2:1 Everton
