Is Lacazette's agent hinting at a possible exit?
In what appears to be a dig at Unai Emery and Arsenal, Alexandre Lacazette's representatives at Score-Agencies have tonight after the clubs 2-0 win at home to Chelsea, in which he scored a peach of an opener, tweeted a status that appears to insinuate the French striker has had enough of not being given a full 90 minutes in games and could well be looking for an exit. The tweet, in French, reads "Est ce que c’est le remplacement de trop ? Next Stage ....." Which translates roughly to "Is he replaced too much? Next stage..." Or "Is this substitution the last straw? Next stage..." Followed by the hashtags #Lacazette #Gunners #ByeBye #ARSCHE.
Many Arsenal fans would be only too sympathetic to this outburst by Lacazette's people as they have themselves made their feelings known only too well about the forward not being given full game time not only by Unai Emery but also his predecessor, Arséne Wenger, as well. Since joining Arsenal last season, Lacazette has played a total of 67 times in all competitions but only played a full 90 minutes less than a quarter of those times including once again tonight where he'd played so well. Who knows exactly what Score Agencies is upto or whether David Venditelli or Alex Bonnefond are directly involved, but you can bet it'll have Arsenal fans biting their nails for the next two weeks.
