Anthony Martial signs new Man Utd deal
Anthony Martial has signed a new deal at Manchester United. The new deal sees the Frenchman goes to the club until June 2024 with the club having a one year further option on the forward’s contract.
With Fellaini heading out of the Old Trafford exit door and Anthony Martial signing a new deal the club, it points to a new direction the club seem to be headed in. Or rather an old one that had been forgotten! The Frenchman was constantly linked with a move away from the club with his much discussed relationship with former manager José Mourinho being cited as one of the main factors.
However, since the change of manager Anthony Martial has seemed more of a formality despite his agent‘s hard-ball stance. This marks a fantastic day for United as they have now tied one of their most talented players to a long-term deal.
The young forward has scored 46 goals since joining United in 2015. The forward is enjoying his most prolific form in front goal this season, with him boasting the best conversion rate in front of goal in the entire league.
