Could Arsenal have already secured their first Summer signing?
It's being reported that Arsenal have an agreement with Genk to sign their 23yo Belgian Winger, Leandro Trossard, in the Summer. The agreement is said to be for around €23m (£20m).
Arsenal's interest in Trossard materialised long before Christmas and he was a target of Sven Mislintat, initially to cover for Danny Welbeck and in the long run replace him. But the clubs financial restrictions made it impossible to strike a deal with Genk for the January window and now Arsenal are having to settle for a Summer move.
Trossard is a Left-Winger who can also play as a Second-Striker or Central Midfielder, which makes him the perfect candidate for a Unai Emery signing with his versatility, something he loves in his players.
