Are Everton sleep-walking into the Championship?

We sat down with the popular Everton fan page; @EvertonBlueArmy to discuss all things Everton...

What are your initial thoughts of the January window as we approach the deadline?

EBA: Everton have had one of transfer windows of all time. We are pathetic, simple as that. A horrendously ran football club.

What would you like to see happen before the deadline?

EBA: In an ideal world, a striker and winger signed - not that it’s going to happen.

Do you expect anything to happen?

EBA: No. Everton are done with zero signings. I am sure of it.

What are your thoughts on Dyche’s appointment?

EBA: It’s a safe appointment. Hopefully he has enough to keep us up, but it’ll be a massive job with no reinforcements.

How would you describe the mood amongst the fanbase at the moment? Has the Dyche appointment made any difference?

EBA: Depressing, frustrated, angered. The appointment of Sean Dyche hasn’t changed anything. The fans have had enough.

Is there anyway back for Moshiri in your opinion?

EBA: No. Farhad Moshiri has to sell the club. He is an unbelievably bad owner.

With the window set to shut do you believe the club is in a strong enough position to avoid relegation?

EBA: No. I think Everton will be relegated. Hopefully I am proven wrong.

Where do Everton go from here? Understandably there isn’t a pleasant feeling amongst the fanbase, can you see them uniting under Dyche or is there simple too many problems around the club at the moment?

EBA: The fans will back the team and Sean Dyche. The fans will also continue to protest and make their voices heard against this ownership and Board of Directors. Hopefully we stay up. That’s it.
