Liverpool's transfer window, terrific or tragic?

Coming into this transfer window we were promised a war chest, so far we have received nothing of the sort. With the arrivals of Salah, Solanke and Robertson we cannot say that it's been the summer we were promised but does that mean we panic? Realistically by now we'd like to have Virgil Van Dyke signed and Naby Keita signed but that's not the case, it's been a summer of what if's and maybes but we shouldn't panic, if this pre season has taught us anything it shows us that we a far more ready to deal with this seasons antics than we were last seasons, Salah has come in and proved everyone wrong who labelled him a 'Chelsea reject' and yes although it is only pre season it is a wonder how fans of other teams such as Manchester United so quickly point out that it's only pre season yet they get so quick to judge lukaku for a few goals in pre season. We are 1 signing away from having a team that can go on and win the title in my opinion and that signing is Virgil Van Dyke it is no surprise that for the past 2/3 years we have needed a commanding centre back that leads by example and we haven't had that since Jamie C

arragher, Matip is a good centre back but lovern doesn't quite cut it, we need two demanding and confident centre backs who can feel confident in there own ability and put fans at ease when the opposition is on the attack. The midfield is next, although we have missed out on Naby Keita ( which I do not believe we have as I don't think the deal is dead) we have quite a strong midfield , Adam Lallana is injured yes and that proves a big blow but we need to wake ourselves up to the conclusion that he wouldn't have touched the first team and if he did it would only be in FA Cup or Capitol One Cup games, we shouldn't worry as we have Emre Can, Jordan Henderson, Gino Wijnaldum, Marko Grujic, we have a strong midfield and as much as I hope for the arrival of Naby Keita it is not as needed as everyone makes out. Going into this season I believe we have a strong squad and are 1 singing away ( Virgil Van Dyke) from challenging for the league and I believe that signing Salah may Just be the best piece of business this window has to offer.
